The 8-Bit Video Game That Makes Statistics Addictive
Players see a stream of scatter plots - graphs that visualize the relationship between two things, like temperature and ice-cream sales. Your job is to eyeball the plots and estimate the number R, which measures how correlated the two things are. In the game, R can range from 0 (no correlation at all) to 1 (a perfect positive correlation).

Too cool! Statistics was the only mathematics course that got me 100% engaged with the subject matter in my entire school career. Now my kids are the same way, and they think 8-bit stuff is awesome (for some reason) too. We'll be playing this game tonight for sure.
