Ah, the rats are jumping the sinking ship, I see.
His resignation was a demand from some members of the Eurogroup to restart the negotiations.
Do you have a source for that? According to his blog, it comes across as though several members of those meetings were wary of his presence there, and Tsipras was like "Yeah, you should totally be absent from those meetings". At least that's my interpretation of his words.
