I don't understand why does any pastor have to live so luxurious. He's clearly not the only one.
It's because he's a fake piece of shit and clearly in it for the money and not the faith. If he was a real "man of god", he wouldn't need to fly around in a private jet, he wouldn't need 3 or 4 luxury homes all over the place. He would instead use his status to actually help people. Sadly, it's the nature of the beast.
This is one of the direct reasons I converted from Protestantism to Catholicism. Thought I believe the denomination and religion I am in to be correct, even if it were to be not right, the fact that (most) of the priests are genuine comforts me.
That is a very good question.This sort of nonsense has gone on for years..Remember the end of the world dude who milked people for millions and then vanished like a fart in a fan factory? Why are they allowed to get away with this stuff?
It's legitimate and the oldest form of robbery. But It'll pay the most in the end, I promise.
