    I'm generally a skeptic, but here's an interesting question.

    The very basis of science is the notion that it is possible to disprove any statement through evidence. That's what we don't like about religious thought, right? There's no way to disprove the statement "God exists." Russell's Teapot and all that.

    But let's say one day God appeared to you in all His glory and said "Hey, buddy, I exist for real." I know as a skeptic, I'd just question my own mind. I'd dismiss Him as the product of sudden schizophrenia or something.

    Which makes "God doesn't exist" impossible to disprove.
