Net neutrality on chopping block as Democrats fight to save FCC’s rules
Senators Al Franken (D-Minn.) and Edward Markey (D-Mass.) today said they will try to preserve the Federal Communications Commission's net neutrality rules in a budget standoff with Republicans. A Republican budget proposal that came out in June would prevent the FCC from enforcing its net neutrality rules until Internet providers who are suing the commission have exhausted all their legal options.

This is way more important than people realize. This would change our every day lives in ways we can't even fathom yet.
Yes. They're fighting this hard for a precedent that would give them incredible power, not some protection for their current policy.
Here we go again. I swear big corporations won't stop paying for this kind of obstructionism until they get an actual constitutional amendment giving the maintenance of their profits priority over our laws and regulations (see: TPP).
Republicans aren't going to save you from The Gays, Abortions or Technology. Please stop voting for them.
Nor are they ever going to save you from Big Government, national debt or The Muslim Threat.
