I don't understand how climate change is something based on beliefs. Like whether you believe it or not. That's like, "Oh. No. I don't believe that the growing tumor in my lungs is from smoking cigarettes."
I want to believe this is true, but i just don't know. The important factor is saliency, how important of an issue is this. I would guess for most independent voters, it is not high up on the list.
