Personally it seems like they value snark far and above actual critique and review of products, they're not The Onion, for God's sake. Hell, I've kind of gotten turned off from The AV Club in the past few months because they've turned their pithy demeanor up to 11.
They also seem far too biased toward Apple products, which doesn't help me in the slightest, and seems kind of unnecessary since an Apple product is going to be an Apple product, regardless of what anyone says about it.
Lastly, Patel seems to care more about his opinions than anyone else's and from what I've seen written, both by him and about him, he treats what he thinks as gospel, which makes him seem like a really bad fit for his position there, but that's not a huge issue and is something that rubs me the wrong way about him in particular.
What is it that bothers you about The Verge? I mean, in actual, specific terms. Are you able to say?
