  I've been using Linux distros for 12 years. Of late, I've used Elementary OS. However,I don't like the attitudes of the developers and Mint is looking better and better. I'm leaning towards the XFCE flavor. Several people on our little Linux forum use and like Mint.
  I have zero interest in both Windows and Apple.

      That's also why I go with user friendly distros..I'm also not going to spend hours and hours trying to install Arch. Like you,I want a distro that just works, no muss,no fuss. And yeah,Xfce is not the fanciest looking desktop out there,for sure.
