    Glad to know my skepticism of high-priced cables was well founded, for the most part :)

    The article suggests that there is no difference between HDMI and HDMI 2.0/3.0 cables. This isn't entirely true. As the specification is updated cables and devices must meet minimum standards of bandwidth to be certified. That said it is very rare that you'll find an old HDMI cable or device that does not meet the new specification, and all new cables need to meet the current specification anyway; so just buy the cheapest cable that fits your needs.

    Nothing is more painful than needing to replace a cord immediately and not having time to wait for Monoprice to ship them. I loathe the $30 Best Buy and Target pricing.
