South Korea's government explores move from Windows to Linux desktop
In what may prove to be the biggest migration from Windows to the Linux desktop, the South Korean government is looking into shifting from Windows 7 to a trio of Linux desktops.

Haven't other countries tried this and failed cause of something or other Microsoft did or promised to do?
Munich, started moving to Linux but a new government with a different political agenda is attempting to move back to windows, probably due to a massive lobbying effort from Microsoft.
September 2016 - Microsoft moves it's German headquarters to Munich
February 2017 - Politicians discuss proposals to replace the Linux-based OS used across the council with a Windows 10-based client.
Wasn't there a successful Linux government project in Spain though?
I knew that would happen,it always does. I wonder how much money Windows threw at them to stay there? I don't recall if Spain got out of their clutches or not.
