I'm really looking forward to this one; it looks quite different- it's set in the Star Wars universe, sure, but it's a story of another scope and scale, which is awesome.
Very excited to see more of the Star Wars universe, and really happy to see they're introducing a new female lead. I do hope they don't try to make it too integrated with the new films by positioning the new lead (Jen?) as Rey's mom or something like that. There's a whole universe of Federation/Rebellion/Empire/First Order stories to tell. IMO they don't all need to be connected to the next release or the most famous force users to be great Star Wars stories.
I've lost interest in the SW thing totally....I think the word "wars" has something to do with it. One can't get through a sf movie anymore without at least one (sometimes more),long, loud and tedious fight scene..and often a chase scene is thrown in too to waste time. I'm quite frankly tired of the never ending battle scenes towards the end of every sf flick that comes out. Been there, saw that and I'm ever so tired of it.
