    Whaaat? The article says "You will also be unable to easily access your local drive. This operating system relies almost entirely on Google Drive for storage." Sounds like a nightmare to me. Even for those who already have Google accounts, this means you have to pretty much rely on 24/7 internet connection. For people with laptops (who bring them places), that's not a guarantee. I'd rather work on documents directly on my hard drive.

    Also, back when I was using Google Docs to collaborate with a friend on a document, it was an absolute nightmare - typing speed was laggy - something that would have never happened if I'd just used Libre Office locally with "track changes" and then send it to the friend so the friend and I could see edits.

    I actually switched from Windows 7 to Linux. Needless to say I can access my local drive seamlessly! And Linux was a massive improvement over Windows 7.
