Chrome 36 may signal the end for URLs

Brutal. How is this a step forward?
It isn't. They are trying to fix something that doesn't need fixing. Smarten up Google.
This will never fly. People (like myself) need to be able to copy and paste URLs from the address bar to be able to post in forums, IM, even Snapzu.
Damn it, first it was IE, then Netscape, then Firefox, then Chrome... now what?
WHAAAAA!?
