After finishing the recent reboot, I was absolutely stoked to see just where the franchise was going. Soon after, they announced that the sequel will be a timed exclusive for Xbone. It completely took the wind out of the sails for me. I have absolutely no interest in ever purchasing and Xbone, as I already own a PC and a PS4.
I hope Rise of the Tomb Raider is good, but it's hard to care near as much about it when the developers/publisher chooses to not release it for large segments of their fan base for pure monetary reasons. That's not cool.
Just finished the definitive edition of the 2013 reboot. The future of this series is very, very bright. That game was an excellent Uncharted clone.
