Man, I love AngryJoe. I'm happy to see that he really enjoyed this game. I've heard nothing but good things about it. It's funny too, because with all the downtime you'd think people would be complaining, but the game is so good that it's forgivable. It's refreshing.
The downtime was due to a MASSIVE influx of new players, much more than if it wasn't free on PS+, so the servers melted, but they improved the infrastructure, and are giving away free DLC as a "sorry our servers fell over" gesture to all players. Psyonix seem like a team who really want their game and community to thrive, and their actions are backing it up. Excited to see what comes in the future for Rocket League, both from the game and from a competitive standpoint.
