According to the Committee to Protect Journalists, about 90% of journalist murders in Mexico since 1992 have gone unpunished.

Just when you think things can't get much worse for Mexico. This is abhorrent behavior. Too bad Mexico isn't sitting on Oil reserves. Then we could go down there to 'liberate' them! In all seriousness though- this is part of the problem the US is having with immigration. Is it any wonder these people are jumping ship? We need to find a manageable way to help these people and maintain US interests at home. Giving handouts is not a long term viable solution.
