Is Glass a Liquid?

Stained glass is thicker at the bottom - so is it a liquid? Earth's mantle enables plate tectonics, so is it a liquid?

Very cool explanation. I'm a geophysicist and these concepts come up a lot even in small scale engineering projects. Saturated soils, clay rich environments, anomalous groundwater flows, and other phenomenon often push our base assumptions to the limits and require some adjustment or creativity to overcome the rigidity of assumption and take into account strange effects of reality. Very neat stuff, thanks for sharing!
