I guess we fundamentally disagree then. Preservatives are absolutely necessary for people like me that can't regularly cook or shop for fresh foods, and most water tastes like absolute crap to me. For the past five years, my primary source of water has been well water, so I simply can't drink the city water I get when I go to University. Flavoring is how I avoid dehydration when I run out of the one type of bottled water I like.
