Exclusive: Half of Americans think presidential nominating system 'rigged' - poll
More than half of American voters believe that the system U.S. political parties use to pick their candidates for the White House is "rigged" and more than two-thirds want to see the process changed, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.

I wonder what the other 50% are thinking? That it's a democratic process?
The other half are not paying attention. Or thinking. Or both.
They probably think it is OK as long as the candidate they like wins.

You are absolutely correct.
I think this election is bringing out things that people had never though about, or fully understood before, like how sometimes your own vote really does not count. Whatever frustrations voters have had before will become even worse as they realize how the professional politicians create walls to thwart a serious attempt to kick them off of their gravy train.
Excellent description. I'm also wondering about the good ol' electoral college, there's no law specifying they have to honor their pledge to cast according to statewide popular vote.
That's a revelation to voters (though it has been this way for many years). They were elected to represent their constituents. It seem they have no obligation to those voters when it comes to the partys' own interests. In other words, your vote doesn't count.
