A $10 billion program to eliminate long wait times and other problems for veterans' health care hasn't worked out as planned. More veterans wait even longer for care now than they did a year ago.

Army vets are the classic example of "used and discarded". They gave their whole lives to protect the interests of corporate America, but they're no longer useful to make them money, so they get no help. The only time they show up in the political arena is when they're useful for a candidate to get votes.
Let's clear up a couple misstatements contained in your comment that do little to nothing to enhance your point.
First: the VA services all branches of military service, not just the army.
Second: "They gave their whole lives ......" Nope most just served 2-6 active years and are poor.
