Is the 850 Pro's additional 10MBps sequential write speed and 10,000 random IOPS worth the $200 premium over the EVO if I intend to use an SSD primarily for gaming?
The PRO uses MLC NAND memory which gives it a much longer lifespan compared to the EVO's TLC NAND. If you just care about speeds then the $200 premium isn't worth it.
