Hi everybody! I'm one of the many people coming from Reddit.

First off, the site is awesome and I'm really exciting about seeing the site and its various communities develop and grow!

I noticed that when I'm browsing replies in a conversation thread, I can collapse child replies to comments, but I can't collapse the initial parent comments. I know that this is a really minor detail, but having the ability to collapse parent comments in a particular discussion allows users to more easily read through everything by clearing up the clutter of comments they have already read. Hopefully something like this would be easy to implement.

TL;DR It would be great to allow users to collapse parent comments in a discussion thread so they can more easily read through them.
