Political correctness: how the right invented a phantom enemy
Three weeks ago, around a quarter of the American population elected a demagogue with no prior experience in public service to the presidency. In the eyes of many of his supporters, this lack of preparation was not a liability, but a strength. Donald Trump had run as a candidate whose primary qualification was that he was not “a politician”. Hardly a "phantom enemy"(this author has provided sufficient examples), and akin to the "racism" label, they're the proverbial "old horse(s)"
the left has ridden to their "death".
Can you find an instance of someone taking a stand for “political correctness” as such? Hint: Even the author credited with developing the term was arguing against it.
I take it you’re talking about yourself, here. This is puzzling, because I see a lot of your comments and the term “PC” only seems to come up when somebody calls you out for your usual charm. If anyone was to try to work out what “PC” meant from the way you use it, it’d mean the same as "SJW," which is to say “non-ignorant, non-bigoted.”

Is this mixing the horses metaphor or are we just trying to frighten children now?
Your allusions are nothing
if not,,,,amusing. ;-)
I did read through the entire article through the course of my work day's breaks.
I won't argue the author's point that nobody is lobbying strictly for 'political correctness,' but to flip the straw man argument around, pro-choice individuals aren't lobbying strictly for 'killing babies,' and that's how pro-life people see it.
The author is whiny and biased; and that made reading the article an arduous task.
