The crime and punishment system in this country is a complete joke. Completely infuriating. I can understand the need to protect the public but this is ridiculous. Ruining a child's life because he was experimenting with another one of his peers is unconscionable, especially when you consider that it's always the young men that suffer, never the young women who knowingly consented to the same activities he's being prosecuted for. It's definitely time for lawmakers to make a change
