DC Council votes to decriminalize Pot
The D.C. Council voted 11-1 to decriminalize marijuana in the District, WUSA9's Bruce Johnson reports. There will be a second and final reading and vote on the marijuana decriminalization bill before the entire Council as early as February 18th, officials said.

I still can't believe that the feds aren't recognizing this. The entire country is on the verge of a cannabis revolution and the government is still denying that it's happening. If Obama were to finally allow the legalization federally, he would leave a lasting impression for his otherwise uneventful presidency.
Agreed, it would be the single good thing he did during his presidency, but it would be a memorable one. Oftentimes I get the impression that hes a gutless tool though, and that will be his legacy.
It should be legalized nation wide and sold and tax the crap out of it.
