I used to be a home delivery driver for a supermarket, covering 4 stores in a day. On my busiest days, I would be on the go non-stop for 11 hours without a break. I had to eat while I was driving. On my days off I wouldn't do anything because I was too exhausted. Eventually I had to quit because I got so stressed that I couldn't sleep because I was shaking so much.

But that was years ago. If I was in the same situation now I wouldn't stand for it. These days I would insist on taking breaks and if I couldn't get all the deliveries done in the day, I would say to them, "Tough shit, you need to hire someone to help me!"
