Scientists discover some spiders can sail like ships
New research from the University of Nottingham shows they can sail like ships using their legs and silk to stay afloat. Lead researcher, Morito Hayashi, form the Natural History Museum in London, said it was a remarkable discovery. "We've now found that spiders actively adopt postures that allow them to use the wind direction to control their journey on water," he said. "They even drop silk and stop on the water surface when they want. This ability compensates for the risks of landing on water."

Scarier than Nopes who sail like ships are spiders that fly using a baloon-like sack of silk. the blog post above (in portuguese, sorry) tels the story of a "war" the brazilian governm fought against one such spider, the Latrodectus curacaviensis. They even napalm-bombed an island in Guanabara Bay (in Rio de Janeiro). The spiders just sailed the hot air currents created by the fire and relocated... BTW, Latrodectus curacaviensis is a relative of the Blackwidow...
I wish they incorporate this in Spiderman comics. They only cover a fraction of cool stuff spider can do.
So now I know a spider can follow me to the ends of the Earths. Time to go to space.
