    I'm conflicted about this. I'm glad it happened because people who cheat on their SO are scum, but I hate the thought of people's personal information being leaked to the world.

      It seems pretty straightforward. To someone out there, you are scum. There's probably entire communities, with people with the skills necessary for this type of attack, who would think you are scum, whether its because of the color of your skin, the food you eat, your religion, your politics, or even just the businesses you frequent. I can just as easily see someone publishing a list of all this data for iPhone users, for taking advantage of "chinese slave labor", or Amazon users, for similar reasons.

      The idea that someone should be punished because they don't meet your personal moral compass is a fairly dangerous line to walk down.
