Even as a Catholic (albeit a very terrible one), this kind of thing just really annoys me. Fundamentalism is bad for every religion. It distorts messages meant to heal people and better society as a whole. "Love thy neighbor", not "Love thy neighbor, unless _____."
Never thought I'd be siding with Miley Cyrus. Ken Ham is a fool. A complete fool. "I'm down with consenting adults". For some reason, Ken Ham thinks that means "I fuck animals". I just don't understand these fundamentalists. How is it so hard to imagine how humans can derive their morals from somewhere besides their book? Anyways, I'm glad for Miley. I absolutely hate her as an artist, but at least shes being her own person and deciding her own path in life. That can't be said for every person with her level fame.
Much respect for her having her own beliefs or lack thereof.
