      The piece sounds like it could be any primarily DC fan talking about Marvel comics back in the day. You know, serialized, disjointed, fragmentary, maudlin melodramas far more concerned with making cryptic references to titles and issues you haven't yet paid for than taking a coherent story from beginning to end. The movies capture that very well.

        True. Marvel made AoU a stand alone sequel to the first movie, mostly. If you had only seen Avengers and not the others, they reset any changes. They put Tony in the suit, Gave Nick Fury the helicarrier, and S.H.I.E.L.D, from the outside, seems to be intact. And Ultron His quick creation, unwarranted hatred for tony, and grand evil scheme. was a little bit campy. James Spader was great though.
