The judge was a straight up cunt. He punished Zach not because he had to, but because he used him as a scapegoat to punish current culture.

But the judge condemned what he called a culture of “meet, hook-up, have sex, sayonara, totally inappropriate behavior,” according to court documents.

I can't believe the judge was able to get away with what was obvious bias against the defendant. I honestly hope this decision is appealed.

My dad (who has been a judge/lawyer for a good 30 years) even agreed that the idea of 25 years restriction from the internet is insane, for Zach to get that on a guilty plea, the judge must have been gunning for years and years in jail. My dad also said that if the judge decided the "crime" didn't warrant any jail time at all, 25 years on the registry did not fit at all. You can't live without the internet now a days. The judge stripped Zach of his education and pretty much any career or job that pays above minimum wage.

I'm honestly surprised we haven't had a case of a "serial statutory rapist" yet. There's no stopping a 14-16 year old girl from lying to a bunch of men to get them convicted as sex offenders.
