Hello, my name is monkeytherat and I am a programmer. I lurk reddit on occasion (though I spend more time on 4chan and, less recently, hackforums) and I wasn't really affected much by all the craziness going on. But I cannot approve of the actions of those who run the site, both the recent misgivings and the steady decline I noticed as communities became more muddled, and do not feel comfortable supporting them by continuing to use the reddit webstation. Luckily for me, a friend of mine contacted me and told me about this webplace. This webplace seems promising. I hope I can find a place here and that I can get what I'm looking for from it.
