A leader in the Russian Orthodox Church is urging men to keep their beards to “protect themselves from homosexuality.” Metropolitan Kornily, primate of the Russian Orthodox Old Believer Church (RPSC), claims that shaving is more likely to make a man become “corrupted” by same-sex attraction.

Interesting reasoning. So, homosexuality is some misterious illness that attacks people without beards? Should we consider beards as a vaccine for gayness? And if so, maybe growing a beard increases the risk of autism? Which in turn may make you more likely to become a Russian orthodox priest...
