    The major publishers seem to have missed the memo on why Amazon's (e-)book business has done so well. I'm not gonna pay the same amount for a digital copy as I would for a paperback, and I have a feeling most people think that way. We have all been spoiled by the prices at Amazon, and there's no going back from that.

    I think a lot of the publishers have completely lost track of the market in which they sell their products, not realizing that a lot has happened in the past 10-15 years which changes the game for everyone. They're too concerned about maximizing profits and too caught up in the "traditional" way of achieving that goal to see why they end up losing money instead.
