Good memories playing on the Atari 2600 with cousins or my uncle. Pac-Man was the obvious favorite but Bump N Jump, Reactor and Missile Command saw a lot of action. I also recall another cousin who had an Atari and we played quite a bit of Congo Bongo. Agreed with the other posts that the progress to the tech is impressive. Kind of fun to see it go from just a few blips on a screen to full on realistic looking landscapes and characters.

40+ years is a long time. Can you imagine games in even only another 10 years...

It's incredible how far gaming and technology has come. I (vaguely) remember having the Atari 2600 at home. I was a bit too young to play but I was always hooked onto watching my older sisters playing it.

I don't remember the pong days, but I do remember playing some really ancient games on the Atari 2600 as well. I marvel at the progress, and I wonder with the arrival of VR and full augmentation technology the next truly big thing is just around the corner.
