The Ford Focus is dead in the US because of Trump’s trade war
Ford just announced that it’s abandoning plans to sell the Focus Active — which the company makes in China — in the United States because of tariffs imposed by the Trump administration. The car was supposed to be one of two models that Ford planned to sell in the US going forward as it shifts its lineup to be almost exclusively SUVs and trucks. Now, the only car Ford will sell in the US is the Mustang.

No. they announced last April that they were abandoning most of the car market because of declining sales due to 'evolving consumer tastes'.
Wasn't 'just announced', and nothing to do with Trump. Just more media dishonesty.

Fuck Ford then. Just like many other corporations nowadays they moved car building industry into China to maximize profits and rip maximum benefits. Go and check it. Corporate profits are up, companies are doing great while salaries did not increase at slightest. Companies do not share the wealth they earn with their employees the way they used to. Instead they take their money offshore to avoid paying taxes.
