I feel your pain. I think the users are fascinated with watching Reddit burn and with every new piece of news they celebrate that little bit more.

Maybe suggest at /t/ideasforsnapzu a word block list to remove any topics from the front page for you that contain words in your block list.

It won't be for too long, reddit will stabilise over the coming weeks and it'll be back to BAU.
