It sucks for that poor woman but Jesus fucking christ people.. Phoenix is the friendliest city I've ever lived in when it comes to non drivers. All it takes is an ounce of common fucking sense to avoid shit like this. There are crosswalks everywhere. USE THEM! I never ever want to see someone get hurt but when you cross in the middle of the fucking road at night, you unfortunately get what you get.
The number of people I have seen crossing at dangerous times is staggering. How little must you value your own life to be this careless?
I deliberately cross in the middle of the street so I can see all the cars coming. In Texas it's safer. Nine out of ten Texas drivers are just as safe as anyone else, but ten percent are murderous.
