Kickstarter.. for every gem there are dozens of scams and crap that doesn't stand a chance to see light of day.
It also seems like a giant popularity contest. A Fine example just recently happened with that exploding cats card game that got 4 million or so of funding in like a day just because it was made by the oatmeal guy.
