Theresa May says she is going to regulate the internet worldwide
Theresa May intends to get worldwide governments to regulate and monitor everyone's internet. The prime minister has suggested that there needs to be "international agreements" to allow intelligence services to read people's private communications.

How about going after the guys you've already identified as being affiliated with terrorism, like nearly all previous attackers, instead of breaking everyone's privacy to get a lot of information that you won't use to catch them?
This isn't, and has never been, about terrorism. It's about control and killing free speech.

First thought, after reading reading the title and hearing May: "Hahahahahahahahaha!! You can't even do politics right and now you are going to regulate the internet. Yup. Hahahahaha!"
Edit: Out loud, also.
This reminds me of a book I read once, the Government had regulated the Internet and collected all information of what you do on it, in order to use it at all you had to get a background check and pay a license fee, although, in that book the people ended up overthrowing that government, I wish I could remember what book it was.
