Unfortunately, most systems force passwords that are hard for humans to remember and easy for machines to crack.

Here's how to make strong and easy to remember passwords : https://xkcd.com/936/

The best thing to do is teach people to use a secure password manager and use fully random passwords, that way they only have to remember a single secure password.

So what would you recommend as a secure password manager?

I've been using Dashlane on PC and Android for several years now and it has never let me down. Actually, it's been really great. It even has an easy to use "change all passwords" function. I also use two-factor authentication, via an app called Authy, on my most sensitive passwords. (Here's a list of sites that accept two-factor authentication that is updated regularly.) That way if Dashlane gets compromised (always a possibility for any password manager), my money and identity and such are protected. For me, it's worth typing in six more digits sometimes to have that extra layer of security.

I've been using KeePass for the longest time, though a feature like "change all passwords" sounds awesome. Thanks for the recommendation; gonna' check it out.

Cool. I should probably mention that that's a paid feature, but you can definitely get a sense of whether the service is right for you without buying the premium version. For me, the premium subscription is worth every penny. If you use Swiftkey on Android (and maybe iOS, not sure) it can integrate with that and enter passwords to apps and things too. I don't know if KeePass does that or not, but thought I'd share.

          I use lastpass for convenience.

It would depend on what operating systems you use. I personally use keepass, which works well on Windows and Linux and is supported by several android apps, but I was never able to get it working on a Mac. For non critical stuff I also use lastpass for convenience .

And always remember to unlock your doors before going to bed at night.

    I would love to, but I can't.

Seriously, before this I would have little sentences with punctuation for passwords.
