I have had that in the past, and also find bug bites quite itchy. I live in a post-prohibition jurisdiction and can grow my own cannabis. I make an ointment with cannabis, coconut oil, and beeswax that kills the itch almost instantly. Try it out if you suffer and are able to get some.
