This will essentially bypass any checks we have on weapons sales in the country, allowing every gang member and every unstable individual to get their hands and a much harder to track, and easier to obtain, weapon.
I actually fully support the work the US government is trying to do to prevent this, because people don't fully understand what a horror show this could be if they didn't.

As someone from a country where guns are very controlled that's somewhat scary. I'm not sure banning 3D printing is the answer.
Also the barrel bullets - no way of using forensics to match them to the gun any more. They'd have to match them one to a casing.
