If Snapzu was a more active website, I'd leave Reddit for what it is, I guess.
I've been on Reddit for many years and the commercialisation of it made it slide backwards, both in usability and also the quality of content is going downhill pretty steep. Way more bot-posts and reactions, way more politics in sub-reddits where it shouldn't be and also, just like with everything that gets known by a large audience, lots of extremism and racism became a mainstream thing there.

I remember when Digg was the place to be,missteps happened and the exodus went to Reddit. It looks like the same thing is happening with the death of RES,and what you have mentioned. I like coming here, but do wish it was more active.

From what I understood from other Redditors, there's an old version of Reddit active and even the RES could be used there. Tbh, I do not bother about it, actually, because I think that Reddit is going the Facebook way of exploitation and the Twitter way of bot-infestation.

I've wondered about the master plan that the powers that be are working on behind the scenes for quite awhile at Reddit. I go there a lot less than I used to. I also do not look forward to when You Tube trashes it's site with endless ads I cannot block... I'll simply leave them...
