    I mean, this is definitely a conscious choice on behalf of some Millenials, but also part of this is just because our lives are in a lot of ways less stable and less innately conducive to the traditional family structure/narrative

      I agree completely. It's hard to settle down when one has to move across the country (or even to another country altogether) just to stay economically viable. I think part of it has to do with economic hardship, part of it is changing value systems, and more than a little of it is due to how many Millennials grew up with divorced parents.
