Those are few titles that I would recommend. And I don't know what anime you're looking for in your side quest but some more info would be nice, like the year the commercial aired, how the show looked, were there any supernatural elements, with what weapons did the girl fight small stuff like that since that can pretty much define a show. Here is a list of shows that were on Animax and as you can see there are a ton of them.
Thanks! I've finished Death Parade already but the others sound awesome. I'll have to check em out. As far as my memory goes, the commercial aired Mid year 2013. The setting of the anime was modern (think 5 or 10 years from now) and the weapon of choice were mostly guns used in melee 1 on 1 combat (I know it sounds stupid but think of how Hitman movie went where 4 bald men shoot in point blank range to no avail, kinda like that). The "house" representatives have to duke it out in an arena for supremacy. And the girl is the daughter of the current leader of all houses and she has to prove her mettle. Sorry I just can't remember the title damn it, I even googled "All Mafia Anime" because it had a Mafia vibe to it lol
