USA Basketball Cancels Trip to Senegal Due to Ebola Outbreak
The U.S. men’s basketball national team canceled a trip to Senegal due to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa that’s caused more than 1,000 deaths. Team USA, comprised of 16 National Basketball Association players, was set to visit Dakar on Aug. 27 for a youth clinic in conjunction with the Senegal national team before traveling to Spain the following day for the FIBA Basketball World Cup.
