Last Boeing 747 rolls off line after half a century of production
After more than half a century of production, the last Boeing 747 has rolled out of a US factory in Washington state. Qantas’ last remaining 747 Jumbo Jet prior to its departure out of Sydney for the final time. The Qantas 747 fleet are finishing up after almost 50 years of service. Sydney airport, NSW, Australia. The final customer was the cargo carrier Atlas Air, which ordered four 747-8 freighters early this year. The final plane was rolled out of Boeing’s massive factory in Everett, Washington, on Tuesday night.
