Why doesn't snapzu automatically check the links against already submitted links? I posted what I thought was a great story only to see the same one shown at the bottom of the snap in the related submissions area. I had to delete the submission and get negative xp. I try searching for the link/story before I post but that isn't always successful. Seems like checking for duplicate submission links wouldn't be hard.
Hi sysadmin, this is actually a very important matter that we are working on! We are currently upgrading our duplicate link check concept, however found some issues during our testing that has delayed the release of this upgraded functionality. At this point in time we do in fact check for duplicate links, but there is other factors that can make our functionality not recognize the link as duplicate. Our solution will use many more factors to help us locate duplicate snaps, but until it is fully tested we wouldn't want our new solutions to stop users from being able to submit snaps due to logic issues. We hope to have our new functionality tested and ready soon, please bare with us until then!
