I doubt he will shut it down. Too big now. Most of Reddit is fine, just don't park too long in either left or right driveways, but you can always stop by for a bemused view at extremist's echo chambers.
The smaller subs are fine. The defaults have all become echo chambers because they are all (heavily) moderated by the same group of people.
Bouncing back and forth between /T_D and /politics is good fun when I'm bored.
The difference is that one (T_D) bans people for disagreeing.
